Why volunteer with Pie for Providers?

We need great developers, data analysts, designers and marketers to deepen our impact on child care providers and families. This is a chance to contribute to a product from the ground up, and bring your own ideas to improve our product.
Work from home, on your own time.
Volunteering with Pie is 100% remote and extremely flexible. We ask you to contribute at least 4 hours a week for 4 months and proactively communicate with us on Slack, Github and Zoom. But the rest is up to you.
Make a difference.
Child care is perhaps the most overlooked and important social issue of our time. Working with Pie for Providers means:
Supporting fair pay for caregivers, who are mostly women and disproportionately people of color.
Helping low income families - especially mothers - access child care, so that they can pursue better job opportunities.
Helping children access stable and consistent early care and education, which is essential to their long term success.
